Oticon was founded in 1904 by Hans Demant.  His son, William Demant, created the Oticon Foundation. The Oticon Foundation is the majority shareholder of Oticon and “The Foundation” is committed through its statutes to support the needs of hearing impaired people. At Oticon Inc., People First is more than our slogan.
